With reference to the crimes of money laundering in China and France,there are different characteristics concerning the constitutional elements,the scope of upstream crimes,the prevention measures and the penalty methods respectively.

In view of this, the upstream crime should be expanded to any crime with illegal income and profits.

Based on a review of relevant overseas literature,this paper makes a detailed analysis of various problems concerning tourist crime including the relationship between tourism and crime,the causes of tourist crime and its spatial and temporal distribution,classified special studies,tourists\' and residents\' perception,the social impacts and preventive treatment as well.
