Hbs纯合子的表型。患者幼年即出现症状，如发育迟缓、易发生感染，2岁前可出现手-脚综合征，即发热、皮肤苍白及手脚肿痛(指、趾尖）三联征。由于红细胞镰变后易形成血栓，可出现各种危象，如梗死危象(包括骨关节危象、腹部危象、肝危象）、血尿、下肢慢性溃疡、神经系统症状、增生性及非增生性视网膜病，以及严重的血液学改变，如再生障碍危象、溶血危象、脾淤积危象等。脾脏先有肿大，以后因反复栓塞而萎缩，称自身脾切除。诊断依据是镰变试验及血红蛋白电脉。无根治方法，主要是对症治疗。〔丶〕
