补充资料:剑水蚤属
剑水蚤目(Cyclopoidea)剑水蚤科的1属。淡水浮游动物中1个重要类群。雌性体长一般在1.5毫米左右。头胸部卵圆形,胸部5自由节,腹部细长,4节分界明显。尾叉的背面有纵行隆线,内缘有1列刚毛。第1触角分14~17节(很少为18节),末3节侧缘有1列小刺。第1~4胸足的内、外枝均分3节。第5胸足分2节,它的基节与5胸节明显分离,外末角附长羽状刚毛 1根,末节较为长大,表面大多均有小刺,内缘中部或近末部具 1强刺,末缘附长大的羽状刚毛1根,纳精囊一般呈圆形。
浮游生活,分布于池塘、湖泊等水域。某些种类(如近邻剑水蚤)除分布于淡水外,还可在含盐量丰富、矿化作用较强的水中生活。在极为贫瘠的水体中,pH为3.2~4的情况下,则不能生存。
英勇剑水蚤和近邻剑水蚤均为中国淡水水域中常见的数量丰富的种。特别是出现在秋冬寒冷季节的种类,为淡水鱼类的重要天然饵料。
