| 多孔螅属 Millepora 水螅虫纲多孔螅目的一属。能分泌石灰质骨骼，与造礁石珊瑚伴生。是热带海洋中重要的造礁生物。全球现生的多孔螅共约13种。骨骼表面有许多小孔，中间较大的是营养孔，四周细小的是指状孔。生活时，从营养孔中伸出短圆柱形的营养体，顶端有4个短触手 ；从指状孔中伸出细长的指状体，顶端有5～7个触手。有性生殖自骨骼表面的壶腹放出自由游泳、构造较简单的水母体。有性细胞在垂管上发育。触手上有刺丝胞，具捕食和防卫的功能。 |
