植物形态：一年生草本，茎直立，高达80厘米。下部有短粗毛，上部无毛，表面具棱，茎中空，根生叶有柄，柄长4~8厘米，具短而宽的叶鞘，叶片卵形，2~3回羽状全裂，长3~8厘米，宽1.5~5厘米，最后的裂片线状披针形，先端尖锐，边缘平滑，茎上部的叶与根生叶相似。花白色，顶生伞形花序，花萼、花瓣均5片，雄蕊5枚，子房下位，2室。双悬果广卵形，分果具5棱。 生态分布：产我国南北各省；多生于山坡林边湿地或沟谷草丛中 药用部分：果实供药用，7~8月采收。 用途：性味辛、苦、温，有小毒，果实为兴奋强壮剂，能强阳补肾，祛风燥湿，杀虫，对阳痿及妇人阴痒，带下有效，外用为洗剂，有止痒，杀虫，治顽癣，疥疮之效。用量：1~3钱。肾经有火者忌用。
