世界著名的丛书。1867年由A.P.雷克拉姆与H.H.雷克拉姆父子在德国莱比锡创办。丛书的范围包括德国文学、世界文学和哲学 3个领域。雷克拉姆父子出版这套丛书的宗旨,是让它起到家庭图书馆的作用。出版后,受到广大读者欢迎。1945年,该丛书已连续出版7600种,总印数达2.8亿册。1948年之后,这套丛书由小菲利普·雷克拉姆出版社(莱比锡)和小菲利普·雷克拉姆出版公司(斯图加特)各自连续出版。1976年，斯图加特版已累计出书1500种，此后，仍以每年约50种的速度递增。
