描述NeuwiediaBl.三蕊兰属，假兰科，10种，分布于马来西亚至印度尼西亚，我国有N.veratifoliaBl.1种，产海南。陆生草本，有短根茎；叶延长，折叠状；花稍小，排成总状花序；苞片狭；花被片6，近相似，但外轮花被片外面有龙骨状凸起，内轮当中的一片称唇瓣，较二侧的梢阔;雄蕊3，花丝基部合生且与花柱连生，花药线形，分离；花粉粒状；子房下位，3室，每室有胚珠多数，花柱纤细；蒴果具喙。
