辉铋矿 bismuthine 铋的硫化物(BiS3)矿物,含铋81.3%,是炼铋的最主要矿物原料。正交(斜方)晶系,晶体呈长柱状或针状,柱面具纵条纹。集合体为放射柱状或致密粒状。微带铅灰色的锡白色,金属光泽,莫氏硬度2~2.5,比重6.5~6.8。极少形成独立矿床,往往产于以其他金属矿物为主的矿床中。如中国赣南的钨锡矿床,玻利维亚波托西的锡银矿床、美国科罗拉多州莱得维尔和科尔曼铅锌矿床中均富产辉铋矿。辉铋矿在地表风化后形成铋的氧化物或碳酸盐,如铋华Bi2O3 、泡铋矿Bi2〔CO3〕O2。
