Based on the analysis of the general circulation, sub-tropical system, Continental High, and South Asian high, it is concluded that the formation of the drought in 2002 over the Sichuan Basin was mainly caused by the Continental High which maintained for a long time, while the sub-tropical weather system was weaker than that in normal years.

安加拉大陆angara land
这是e．suess命名的二叠纪（permian period）的古大陆，与古地中海相隔，又与冈瓦纳大陆（gond－wana land）相对，大体相当于现今的西伯利亚到喀什米尔一带，作为这块大陆特征的安加拉植物群落，包括gangamopteris和callipteris，前者是冈瓦纳大陆所具有，后者是属于西欧大陆，而安加拉大陆则恰是两者混合的地区。
