河流阶地 river terrace 河流下切侵蚀,使原先的河谷底部(河漫滩或河床)超出一般洪水位以上,呈阶梯状分布在河谷谷坡的地形。阶地由阶地面、阶地陡坎、阶地的前缘、后缘组成。阶地按上下层次分级,级数自下而上按顺序确定,愈向高处年代愈老。阶地物质下部为砂砾石,上部为粉砂、粘土,具二元结构。河流阶地是在相对稳定堆积和迅速下切过程中形成的。由于下切侵蚀的条件不同,阶地的成因也不相同。主要成因有:气候的变化,形成气候阶地;构造运动,形成构造阶地;侵蚀基准面的变化;人类活动的影响,如水利工程建设,改变了基准面。 河流阶地按组成物质及其结构分为以下4类:①侵蚀阶地。由基岩构成,阶地面上往往很少保留冲积物。②堆积阶地。由冲积物组成。根据河流下切程度不同,形成阶地的切割叠置关系不同又可分为:上叠阶地,是新阶地叠于老阶地之上;内叠阶地,新阶地叠于老阶地之内。③基座阶地。阶地形成时,河流下切超过了老河谷谷底而达到并出露基岩。④埋藏阶地。即早期的阶地被新阶地所埋藏。运用物理、化学、生物、年代学的方法研究阶地的级数、结构、年代、成因、分布的规律在科学上与经济上都有着十分重要的意义。 |
