形态分布:伞形科旱芹属一年或二年生植物，高50-150厘米。基生叶一至二回羽状全裂，矩圆形至倒卵形，长7-18厘米，裂片等地区裂。深轧;茎生叶楔形，三全裂。复伞形花序多数，花小，绿白色。双悬果近圆形至椭圆形，长1.5毫米，宽1.5-2毫米，果棱尖锐，条形。
生境分布:原产于亚洲西南部、非洲北部和欧洲。我国各地栽培作蔬菜。
用途:蔬菜妖果实可提芳香油。全草及果入药，有清热止咳、健胃、利尿和降压之效。
