On the basis of former theories,a compatible elliptical model with a common evolution characteristics related to fault length,fault displacement and fault surface geometry was presumed, the spatial deformation of faults were analyzed,and the development of different kind of faults and their control capacity of oil and gas reservoir were indicated.

The results from the GPS measurement show that the displacement rate of Sino-Mongolia block is small and the displacement directions of the parts of the block are different.

In this paper,by using strain rate,displacement rate and sub-control mode for the strain rate,we determined the tensile yield strength of metal materials which have significant physical yield,analyzed the impact on using strain rate and displacement rate to determine yield strength,discussed how to use the strain speed control mode correctly in the microcomputer control universal testing machines.
