描述OplopanaxMiq.刺参属,五加科,8种,分布亚洲东部与北美,我国有刺参(东北刺人参)O.elatusNakail种,产吉林省长白山,朝鲜和苏联也有。多刺灌木,单叶掌状分裂,有叶柄;花两性或杂性,排成伞形花序并再组成圆锥花序;萼筒全缘或有5裂齿;花瓣5;雄蕊5;子房2室,花柱2,离生或合生至中部;果球形。
