桃花江竹海旅游区
“桃花江竹海”位于桃江县东南面，是“中国竹子之乡”（国家林业部命名并授牌）桃江县的一颗璀璨的绿宝石，是独具竹乡特色的景观，已纳入湖南省和全国“竹子之旅”旅游线。距县城桃花江镇仅 1.5 公里，东与桃江另一旅游景点美人窝度假村相连，南以桃益一级公路为界，西与桃灰公路相邻，北与原桃益公路相镶，总面积 761.2 公顷。这里丘岗波浪起伏，间有峰瘠，一般海拔 100 — 250 米，最高海拔雪峰坳 335.4 米，最低海拔 37.0 米，七万亩竹林气势磅礴，是长沙至张家界旅游线上新崛起的一颗璀璨明珠，每年吸引着数十万海内外游客来此旅游观光。
