非洲菊,又名扶郎花,属菊科多年生草本植物非洲菊叶基生,呈羽状分裂或深裂,具长柄。花单生,花梗长而中空,挺拔,高出叶丛。舌状花1-2轮或多轮,呈重瓣状、倒披针状,头状花序。花朵不大,但颜色繁多、丰富,有红色、淡黄、粉色、桔黄等,周年开花,尤以春天的4-5月和秋季的9-10月开花最盛。非洲菊是制作切花的好材料。
