非洲菊，又名扶郎花，属菊科多年生草本植物非洲菊叶基生，呈羽状分裂或深裂，具长柄。花单生，花梗长而中空，挺拔，高出叶丛。舌状花1-2轮或多轮，呈重瓣状、倒披针状，头状花序。花朵不大，但颜色繁多、丰富，有红色、淡黄、粉色、桔黄等，周年开花，尤以春天的4-5月和秋季的9-10月开花最盛。非洲菊是制作切花的好材料。
