On the basis of folk legends,the paper makes a probe into the two traditional festivals—Duan festival and Mao festival—of the Shui people.

According to the measured geometric size and structural construction of Dongyue Temple in Xi\'an,a reasonable mechanical model is obtained by applying the variable rigid elements to simulate the joints of mortise and tenon of the beam-column system in the real wooden structure,and applying the different rigid conditions of the virtual spring element to reflect the real joints with semi-rigidity.
