To realize modernized production for Ming-style furniture of mortise-tenon connection,on the basis of the research of mortise-tenon connection,a new parametric design method of mortise-tenon connection was proposed;And a parametric design system with standardized components of mortise-tenon and characteristic modeling technology was developed on the Solidworks platform by VB language.

This article introduces the source, characteristic and type of chinese tradition furniture\'s tenon and mortise structure, and extracts the implicit concern of " harmony between man and nature" and green design, simple design and " people-oriented" design, and expound the inspiration of the tenon and mortise structure to modern product design.

According to the measured geometric size and structural construction of Dongyue Temple in Xi\'an,a reasonable mechanical model is obtained by applying the variable rigid elements to simulate the joints of mortise and tenon of the beam-column system in the real wooden structure,and applying the different rigid conditions of the virtual spring element to reflect the real joints with semi-rigidity.
