混杂岩 melange 受板块构造作用而变形并能在地质图上填绘出的特殊岩石体。又称混杂堆积。由外来岩块、原地岩块、基质三部分组成。外来岩块主要来自俯冲板块上的放射虫硅质岩、枕状熔岩和归属于洋壳和地幔物质的基性、超基性岩碎块,有时还有海沟内壁上的蓝片岩;基质一般是相对塑性的泥、砂质岩石。所有上述各岩石碎块大小不等,形状各异彼此以构造关系相接触,且均经受了不同规模的剪切作用;它们与俯冲带大致平行的带状分布于特定的构造部位,带宽数十至数百千米,延伸可达数千千米,带内柔性褶皱和叠瓦状推覆构造发育。由于外来岩块以蛇绿岩套的各组分岩石为主,故也称蛇绿混杂岩,是鉴别古海沟的重要标志。板块构造学认为混杂岩是构造活动与沉积作用的综合产物。美国西海岸圣弗兰西斯科混杂堆积是一套典型的混杂岩。中国喜马拉雅山、天山、西秦岭等地也相继发现了蛇绿混杂岩。 |
