Paoma Pb-Zn deposit occurs in tidal flat-laggoon-faced clay-alga dolomite-siliceous dolomite assemblage of Maidiping Member of Cambrian Series and is controlled by parallel unconformity,folded interformational cataclastic zones,fracture-concentrated zones and faults.
宁南跑马铅锌矿集中产于下寒武统麦地坪段潮坪-泻湖相的粘土-藻白云岩-硅质白云岩组合中,受平行不整合面和褶皱的层间破碎带、裂隙密集带、断裂等控制,为典型的沉积改造型矿床;矿床经历了沉积和改造两个成矿期,即在麦地坪段沉积过程中铅、锌初始富集形成矿源层,经后期热液叠加改造富集成矿,矿区具备大型铅锌矿床的成矿条件,找矿前景良好。

凹子岗锌矿床为近年来在湘西鄂西地区发现的具有代表性铅锌矿床,锌矿体严格受地层层位及岩相古地理条件限制,震旦系上统灯影组二段为主要含矿层位,局限海台地潮下相有利于锌元素的原始富集,滩后斜坡或潮道中的角砾状云岩为工业锌矿体形成的必要条件。

中国主要铅锌产地之一，位于广东省仁化县。1963年进行地质勘探，1965年开始建设。该矿储量较大、品位较高，平均含铅5.47％、锌11.12％、硫37.02％，并伴生有银、锗、镓、镉、汞等成分。1983年生产的有铅精矿、锌精矿和硫精矿三种产品，铅精矿含铅 52.19％，锌精矿含锌50.11％，硫精矿含硫40.03％。现正在扩建中。
