形态特征:槭树科槭属乔木植物，高3-12米。小枝暗红色。叶卵状长圆形，不裂或3浅裂，顶端尾状渐尖，边缘具不整齐粗锯齿;叶柄长2-3.5厘米，红色。总状花序，4-5月开花，花淡绿色，雌雌同株;萼片4，卵形;花瓣4，楔形。翅果长3-4厘米，无毛，两翅开展成钝角;绿色;小坚果凸起，近球形，具明显肋纹。
生境分布:生于海拔1300-2300米的山坡或山谷的疏林中。分布于陕西和甘肃东南部。
用途:木材可制器具。
