描 述：trailliaedoxa w. w. sm. et forrest 丁茜属，茜草科，只有丁茜t. gracilis w. w. sm. et forrest 1种，产我国云南。直立、多枝亚灌木；叶小，对生；托叶在叶柄间，2裂，锥形；花红白色或淡黄色，排成腋生和顶生、球状的聚伞花序；萼管圆锥形，萼檐5裂，裂片技针形，宿存；花冠漏斗状，裂片5，旋转排列；雄蕊5，着生于冠管喉部，花丝极短，花药近基部背着；花盘环状；子房下位，2室，每室有胚珠1颗；果圆柱形，有2槽；种子无胚乳，种皮革质。
