| 吉丁科 Buprestidae；buprestidbeetle 鞘翅目的一科。通称吉丁虫。全世界约1.3 万种，中国约450种。成虫喜阳光，在白天活动，飞行迅速 ，在树枝的向阳部位容易发现。小至大型，体型坚硬，有美丽金属光泽。有绿、蓝、青、紫、古铜等颜色。头部较小，嵌入前胸。幼虫在树木中穿孔为害。先在树皮下形成层蛀食生长，然后蛀入木质部化蛹，在孔道底部常咬成云状细纹，羽化时常咬破树皮成扁圆孔而化出成虫。是森林和果树的重要害虫。
