地方企业
地方企业由中国各级地方(省、市、地、县)政府主管部门管理的企业。包括地方政府所属企业以及由中央和地方共管以地方管理为主的企业口这是传统计划经济体制下的一种企业分类形式，是中央企业的对称。地方企业一般规模不大，多数是中、小型企业，原材料的供给与产品的销售带有较大的区域性。这类企业人财物的管理和供产销的平衡由地方负责，中央有关部门只对它们生产的同类产品进行归口管理。其中由中央和地方共管而以地方管理为主的企业，地方在制定企业的生产建设计划、安排供产销关系时，要接受中央有关部门的指导，服从国家的统一计划，保证产品配套和产品调出任务的完成。这类企业的属于全国平衡、国家调拨的产品，生产所需的主要原材料则由中央有关部门负责解决。中央企业、地方企业都是按行政隶属关系对企业实行分类管理的产物。随着经济体制改革的深入发展，政府机构将不再直接管理企业，这种企业分类将失去其实际意义。
