| 武陵山 位于中国湖南省西北部及湖北省、贵州省两省边境。东北-西南走向。长420千米，平均海拔1000米以上。属褶皱山地。为乌江和沅江、澧水的分水岭。最高峰凤凰山（海拔2570米）与主峰梵净山（海拔2494米）同位于贵州省江口县境内。北端高峰天门山，海拔1518米，是武陵山第三高峰，位于湖南省溪口。境内有著名的武陵源风景区。这里山峰陡奇，峰林丛生，森林茂密，山青水秀，景色宜人。此外，还有丰富的矿产资源。 |
