巧胜岩景区，位于浙江仙居横溪镇北西1公里处，距仙居县城38公里，境内分布着许多险峰、洞窟、怪石、瀑布、龙潭。
古人称此处为"道家十八洞天"。有狮子岩、五云洞、读书堂、巧胜岩洞、双眼洞、五壶洞、石梁、明暗瀑布、真珠山泉、线瀑龙潭等景，奇险雄伟之中，又透着清幽秀巧，确能引人入胜。
狮 子 岩 从横溪车站向北行500米，见一山峰高插云天，这便是有名的巧胜岩主峰--狮子岩。它像一头雄壮威和狮子，傲然挺立，仰天长吼。沿山中小道上狮子背，只见两边悬崖峭壁，如刀切一般。前方一根200左右的石梁凌空而起，靠云头，这就是狮子颈。攀上狮子颈到狮子崖顶峰，犹如站在云端，顿觉心旷神怡，真个是“会当凌绝顶，一众山小”。举目眺望，远山雾霭茫茫，近村炊烟袅袅，阡陌交通，花果成片。回首鸟瞰十八座狮子山，神态迥异；十八座螺蛳山，各具特色，伫立滩头。
