【来源】
为菊科植物阿尔泰狗娃花的花或全草。
【植物形态】
阿尔泰狗娃花 多年生草本，高30～50厘米，全体被短毛。叶互生，排列稠密，线状倒披针形或线形，全缘；无柄。头状花序单生于枝顶，直径2.5厘米，边缘舌状花淡紫色，中央管状花黄色。瘦果扁平，倒卵形。 生山坡、路旁。分布新疆、内蒙古等地。 本植物的根，在新疆地区作"紫菀"入药。参见"紫菀"条.
【采集】
夏、秋开花时采收，阴干。
【化学成分】
叶含去甲基川陈皮素。
【性味】
味微苦，性凉。
【功用主治】
清热降火，排脓。治传染性热病，肝胆火旺，疱疹疮疖。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，1.5～3钱。
