聚醋酸乙烯乳液是由醋酸乙烯经乳液聚合后加入邻苯二甲酸二丁酯增塑剂而得,外观为乳白色粘稠状流体,俗称白乳胶,简称PVAc固含量为45%~50%,粒径范围100~1000nm。PH值4~5。粘度>5000mPa·s。残留单体<1%。灰分<3%。玻璃化温度大于28℃。最低成膜温度15℃。聚醋酸乙烯乳液粘接性强、稳定性好、价格低廉,其缺点是耐水性差,胶膜脆性较大。无毒,不燃。
用作木材、织物、纸品等的胶粘剂,配制腻子,与脲醛树脂混合使用,改善性能,可作为淀粉胶粘剂的稳定剂.
贮存于温度为5~30℃的库房内,贮存期为6个月。
