补充资料:山阳岭恐龙化石遗址
位于黔江县官渡河西岸飞明乡山阳岭。以山阳岭为中心,在芋头沟近3千米处的山梁下,1930年首次发掘出“龙骨”四五十条。1974年,又发掘出长102厘米股骨一块,牙齿一颗,还有形状可辨的脊椎、尾椎、趾、踝、臂骨等。经鉴定,为距今1亿年左右(白垩纪早期)的恐龙化石,国内罕见。
