| 全宗 arehives fonds 一个机关、组织或个人在社会活动中形成的档案的有机整体。是档案的基本分类和管理单位，也是国家档案全宗组成的基本单位。既是一定数量档案的实体概念，也是整理档案原则的重要体现和方法，在档案学中有时称为全宗原则、全宗理论。全宗最先是法国作为档案馆内档案分类的原则而应用的，在1841年颁布的《各省和各地区档案整理和分类基本条例》中首次提出，后为许多国家采用，逐渐成为国际间档案学通用的术语。中国曾有档案群和音译芬特等用法，1955年后统一改用全宗。在档案的整理、流转和保管过程中，同一全宗的档案不得分散，不同全宗的档案不得混杂。全宗的形式，主要分为常规全宗和特殊形式的全宗两种类型：常规全宗即一般情况下的独立全宗，有的国家也称其为标准全宗；在难以区分或不必要区分独立全宗的情况下，则采取联合全宗、全宗汇集和档案汇集等办法，作为全宗的特殊形式。 |
