Based on the analysis of building life-cycle energy consumption, this paper totally analyses the building energy consumption problem from a microscopical angle, and gives a macro building energy consumption evaluation index system, and finally studies the building problem from 2001 to 2005 in our country in a positive way.

In this paper,based on the theory of whole life cycle,the macro building energy consumption problem in our country was analyzed,and the key factors in each life cycle period were pointed out.

Through analyzing two works of Cheng Taining,Hangzhou railway station and UN small hydropower center,this paper illustrates his architectural view as "based on this point,this place and oneself",and gets several architectural creation ideas from it,which to offer a reference for designers.
