This paper introduced the theory and interface of AT45D041 with single chip computer,as an example of the large serial Flash memory,and illustrated the application of AT45D041 to intelligent detecting instruments,such as the digital electrocardiogram recording box.

By combining the advantages of FPGA and large density serial flash memory such as AT45DB041B efficiently,this paper implements the access to serial memory and accomplishes plenty of data storing, processing and exchanging with host PC.
