基于多分辨率地形模型的四叉树构建过程,首先针对四叉树优化采用的3个判断标准———包围体剔除、背面剔除和屏幕投影误差分别进行相应的网格优化,然后在LOD地形中漫游时,随着视点移动而呈现出的不同细节程度的需要,建立了合适的节点评价函数,并在LOD简化过程中根据节点分割和渲染的规律,提出合适的裂缝消除算法,去掉四叉树中不合理的分割,最后使得分割后的节点达到最优以完成四叉树网格优化的目的。
