This paper derived optimal training sequences for the multiple antennas of the multiple cells in multiple-input and multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM)-based cellular systems, and presented an iterative channel estimation algorithm with co-channel interferences (CCIs) suppression for better estimation.
