Since 2005,The Library of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology has taken the effective measures of combining the library card sending with the library education,according to the characteristics of the new students.
2005年以来,南京信息工程大学图书馆根据高校新生入馆的特点,采取借书证发放与入馆教育相结合的有效举措,在图书馆拓展服务职能和资源利用方面取得了一些成效,该方法可供其他高校馆参考借鉴。

| 南京图书馆 中国公共图书馆。由1907年筹建的江苏省立国学图书馆和1933年筹建的南京国民党政府的中央图书馆合并而成。馆舍面积2.37万平方米，藏书643.6万册（1990）。其中图书500多万册（中文占84％，外文占16％)，报刊3万多种，还藏有地图、图片、金石拓片、缩微胶卷、幻灯、录像片、唱片等。该馆藏有古籍善本1万部10万册，有唐代人写本、辽代写经、宋本方志、元刻散曲总集等稀见古籍和大量明刻资料及明清抄本。该馆还相当完整地保存了清末四大藏书家之一丁丙的八千卷楼旧藏。江苏省图书馆学会和江苏省中心图书馆委员会均设在该馆。出版物有《江苏图书馆学报》、《馆藏四十大类中文书目》、《江苏地区图书馆建国前中文报纸杂志联合目录》、《馆藏西德标准目录》、《馆藏法学法律书目》、《农业新书刊选目》、《图书馆学论文索引（1949～1982）》等。 |
