性质: 将棉籽外面的短纤维(又称短绒)脱除的操作过程。棉籽外面包有短绒的称为毛籽。一般短绒约占毛籽重量的10%~14%。采用的主要设备是肇转圆锯片式脱绒机。脱绒后的棉籽易于进行下一道工序(剥壳)的操作。回收得到的短绒是造纸和(或)其他纤维化学品(如人造丝、玻璃纸等)的原料。
