产地及产期:
    尼罗罗非鱼原产于约旦的坦噶尼喀湖,已广泛为其他地区所引进,我国于1978年从泰国引进并推广养殖。是我
介绍:
    外形类似鲫鱼。体侧扁,背较高。头中等大小,口端位,颊部有3列鳞片。鳞大,圆形。侧线分上下两段,两段于背鳍基部段并行。背、胸、腹、臀、尾鳍都较大。背鳍发达,硬棘15~18,软条12~14。尾鳍末端钝圆形。体色因环境(或繁殖季节)而有变化,在非繁殖期间为黄棕色。头下侧、口下面、体下半部为白色。体侧有8~10条不明显的黑色纵纹带。尾鳍上有10条左右黑色条纹。在繁殖期间,雄鱼的纵斑带消失,体色呈灰黑色,腹部黑色,头部淡红色,背、胸、尾鳍的边缘呈淡红色。大型雌色的尾鳍也是淡红色。
