Chinese Fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata) plantation sapwood and heartwood boards were treated by radio_frequency vacuum drying(RFVD),conventional kiln drying(KD) and high temperature drying(HT) methods.

By the calulation of the heat balance and the exergy balance for cylinder drying kiln of Jilin Nickel industry Company,the heat efficiency and the exergy efficiency have been found out in this paper.

kilndryingofwood又名木材室干、炉干。木材置干燥窑（室、炉）内，控制介质的温度、湿度和气流循环速度，按预先确定的基准进行干燥处理。窑干的基本建设投资大，成本高，工艺复杂，但干燥速度快，且可使木材干到任何规定的终含水率。为了降低成本和提高质量，可以将气干和窑干两种作业配合使用。即先将湿木材气干到40~50%的含水率，然后窑干。(源自:中国林业网)
