细胸金针虫属鞘翅目,叩甲科。成虫栗褐色，被黄褐色细短毛。前胸背板略成圆形，后缘角伸向后方，突出如刺。它体长8～9mm，宽2.5mm。主要分布于北京、黑龙江、吉林、内蒙古、宁夏等地。
