The dynamic changes of gametocyte activating factor(GAF) activity in the salivary gland extracts were compared between non-blood-fed and blood-fed male Anopheles stephensi post-emergence by in vitro exflagellation assay of Plasmodium berghei in order to investigate the rise and fall of GAF in the salivary glands of Anopheles stephensi during growth and development.

Methods: Exilagellation inducing activity in the salivary glands of Anopheles stephensi was examined and the activity between unfed and blood-fed mosquitoes was compared by using in vitro exflagellation assay of Plasmodium berghei.

Cyprinus carpio;common carp
    鲤形目鲤科鲤属的一种。体长,略侧扁;须2对。背鳍基长大于体长的1/3,背鳍和臀鳍均具一带锯齿的粗壮硬刺;身体背部灰黑色,侧线的下方到腹部淡白色而成年鱼近金黄色,背、尾鳍基部微黑,雄鱼的尾鳍和臀鳍呈橙红色。多栖息于江河、湖泊、水库、池塘的底层和水草丛生处。能耐寒、耐碱、耐缺氧,可在各种不良环境的水域中生存。在春季生殖后,转入肥育期,大量摄取食物,冬季游入深水底层越冬,入春后又转趋活跃。以底栖动物为主要食料,如螺蛳、蚌、蚬和昆虫的幼虫等,也食水草和丝状藻类。为暖温带鱼类。鲤是中国分布最广泛的鱼类。因其生活力强,生长迅速,食料来源广,能在静水中繁殖,食用价值高,多脂,味鲜美,而成为中国最早的养殖对象。经过长期人工选择,已培育出许多养殖品种,如红鲤、团鲤、肉鲤、呆鲤、荷包鲤、芙蓉鲤、镜鲤、丰鲤等。
