In order to investigate the hatching rate of broken eggs of rare birds, 270 broken eggs from silk fowl were divided into 3 groups of 90, which were repaired by one of the following methods: stick with tape; repaired with lens cleaning paper and egg white and with paper and egg white.
Ⅳ、Ⅴ组为对照组 ,分别为合格种蛋和破损种蛋各 90枚。

补充资料：种蛋保存
温度：保存种蛋最适宜的温度为１０－１５℃。如保存时间短（５天左右），控制在１５℃较适宜；贮存５天以上时，以１１℃为宜。
湿度：保存种蛋的环境相对湿度以７０－８０％为好。湿度过高，种蛋易生霉；湿度过低，会使种蛋内的水分蒸发加快，影响孵化效果。
翻蛋与通气：种蛋内的蛋黄比重较轻，总是浮在蛋白的偏上部。为防止胚盘与蛋壳粘连，要定期翻蛋，每天最少翻１次，使蛋位转移角度达９０度以上。
此外，保存种蛋的库房或普通房舍，要保持通风良好，保证室内空气新鲜、清洁
