朵香红舌，属朵香兰品种。“朵香红舌”是初名。主瓣、副瓣多色相间，出香色，瓣边镶红，舌块红，红区幅面宽。朵香兰中，舌多为斑点红，成块红的极少见。这品兰花，在滇中为仅见品种。产于滇西温热谷地，仅发现一丛，兰主在兰市交易的下山兰中寻到，感觉叶匹厚硬，养殖两年后开花。此为2002年1月12日作者拍下的花照。（《滇兰品位识鉴》陈贵著·云南科技出版社）
