【功用主治】
清热，止渴，醒酒，解毒。治疟疾，痢疾，消渴，伤酒头痛，痔瘘下血，丹毒，疔疮。 ①《本经》："主痎疟寒热邪气、泄痢，阴不起，病酒头痛。" ②《别录》："止消渴。" ③《药性论》："消酒毒，明目。散气满不能食，煮一顿服之，又下水气，并治小儿丹毒热肿。" ④《纲目》："治肠中积热，痔瘘下血。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤戌入散剂。外用：研末撒。
【选方】
①主痃疟，寒热邪气，泄痢，阴气不足，止渴及病酒头痛：小豆花于豉中煮，五味调和，作羹食之。(《食医心镜》) ②治疔肿：小豆花为末敷之。(《普济方》)
