根据垂直不连续聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳法对家蚕、蓖麻蚕、樗蚕和樟蚕体液酯酶(EST)同工酶的研究结果指出;1)家蚕EST同工酶至少由3个基因座控制;2)家蚕二化性和多化性品种以及中国系统和日本系统品种之间的EST酶谱类型分布频率存在明显差异;3)蓖麻蚕和樗蚕具有相同的酶谱类型,蓖麻蚕A染色区的酶带是由Est-A基因座上2个等位基因编码的双链分子;4)樟蚕的EST同工酶由2个基因座编码,Est-2A基因座编码的桃红色酶带在迁移位置上有差异,由此推测广州地区的樟蚕可能是一个混合群体。

根据垂直不连续聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳法研究家蚕、蓖麻蚕、樗蚕和樟蚕体液酸性磷酸酶(ACP)同工酶的结果指出:1)家蚕A染色区的4条ACP酶带由2个基因座上的4个等位基因支配;2)多化性品种和中国系统二化性品种的ACP同工酶具有明显的起源同源性;3)蓖麻蚕的ACP同工酶是2个基因座上3个等位基因编码的单链分子,樗蚕和蓖麻蚕具有相似的酶谱类型;4)种蚕的ACP同工酶活性存在显著差异。
