In order to identify the difference on the infection and genes between Antheraea pernyi nucleopolyhedrovirus(ApNPV) and Philosamia cynthia ricini NPV(PcrNPV),we carried out these experiments.

Philosamia cynthia ricina
    大蚕蛾科樗蚕的一亚种。原产印度 ,1938 年前后引入中国台湾省高雄,1940年后引入中国东北、华东、华南等地。产丝的重要蚕种之一。茧精炼后,成为绢纺的优良工业原料。丝的性质基本与家蚕相似,且弹性好,经梳理后可得1~4级的长纤维60.9%,短纤维35.3%,损耗仅3.8%。
    蓖麻蚕为多化性,在适宜条件下无滞育期,可全年连续饲养。在中国一年最多可发生 7 代。成虫一般傍晚交配,交配时间与卵的受精率很有关系,雄蛾需要交配 4 小时后才射精,交尾时间短不但受精卵少,产卵量也显著减少;因此交配时间必须在14小时以上才能达到制种要求。幼虫食性广泛,除食蓖麻叶外,也可用木薯、臭椿、红麻、马桑等叶片饲养;莴苣、蒲公英等已作为试验饲养寄主。
