形态特征:百合科葱属多年生草本植物。鳞茎狭圆锥形，簇生，有类葱蒜香气。花葶圆柱形，高25-60厘米。叶基生，条形，扁平，长15-30厘米，宽1.5-7毫米。伞形花序簇生或球形，多花，花白色或微带红色。蒴果具倒心形的果瓣。
