The effects of illumination, temperature and soil miosture content on germination and storage of Tacca chantrieri Andre seeds were studied.
就温度、光照和土壤水分对箭根薯 (TaccachantrieriAndre )种子萌发的影响及种子贮藏条件进行了研究 ,结果表明 ,箭根薯种子是需光性种子 ,萌发温度较窄且要求有较充分的土壤水分 ,其萌发的最适宜温度为 2 5～ 30℃ ,最适宜土壤水分为 6 0 %～ 70 %;室温干燥贮藏比室温常规贮藏效果好 ,而高温高湿和低温高湿都导致其发芽率迅速下降。

多年生草本，根状茎块状。花葶较叶柄长，总苞片4，紫褐色，小苞片20—24，线形，长达30cm，下垂，伞形花序，花5-18。浆果椭圆形，具宿存花被片。分布于湖南、海南、广西、云南和西藏墨脱，生于海拔170—1350m处的山地林下，水边及山谷阴湿处、印度、泰国、老挝、越南、柬埔寨、新加坡、马来西亚也有分布。国家三级保护渐危种。
