| 玉门市 位于中国甘肃省河西走廊西部。面积1.35万平方千米，人口17.72万，汉族为主，另有回、裕固、哈萨克等20个少数民族。汉元狩二年(前121)始置玉门县，后屡有变更，清乾隆二十四年（1759）复置玉门县 。1955年设省辖玉门市，1958年合县、市为地级市，1961年改为县级市至今。是中国石油工业的摇篮，除丰富的石油资源外，还有煤炭、芒硝、石膏、重晶石、金刚砂、金、铁、锰等矿产资源。工业有电力、煤炭、石油、机械、化工、建材、服装、食品等部门。土特产品有元明粉、羊毛、驼毛、蚕豆、花海瓜等。市内有昌马石窟、昌马岩画、汉长城及烽燧、火烧沟遗址、干海子候鸟保护区、老君庙、孙健初纪念碑等名胜古迹。 |
