土钵鸡——原名土著人匪鸡，原创于五十年代初国民党土匪在乌蒙山一带横行乡里，抢劫民间鸡禽。在山间或野洞里土罐或土钵加上十几种辅助配料架上柴禾烧制而成，其色清鲜香飘山野。主要制法在乌蒙山剿匪记一书上有详细介绍。国民党逃到台湾后，此佳肴便风靡台湾、香港。后传入大陆火爆重庆、拉萨。
此品具有补肾壮阳、益气生精之功效。用于治闻肾阳虚所致的阳痿早泄、腰酸背痛、耳鸣耳聋、小便频数、夜尿多等病症。常人食之可增强正气，提高免疫力，减少疾病、强壮身体、延年益寿也。
