【植物形态】
大叶乌蔹莓,又名:稀果野葡萄。 亚灌木状藤本。茎圆柱形,绿色,有沟槽,节红色,生黄褐色短柔毛;卷须粗壮,2分叉,与叶对生。叶互生,鸟足状复叶;小叶5片,膜质,狭卵形,中间小叶较大,长8~15厘米,先端渐尖,基部钝圆或宽楔形,边缘有具短尖的钝齿,下面疏被短柔毛,上面中脉和侧脉有毛,或变无毛,小叶柄较侧生小叶柄长2倍以上。伞房状聚伞花序腋生,少顶生,有短柔毛;花梗被疏毛;花稀疏,两性,淡绿色;花萼杯状,上部分离,有疏柔毛;花瓣4,无角,有短柔毛或近无毛;花盘杯状,膜质,全缘或4裂,子房陷于花盘内;雄蕊4,花药圆形,花丝长,超过花盘。浆果球形,黄绿色,熟时黑色。种子3~4,基部极狭。花期5~6月。果期7~10月。 车于山地森林中,常攀援于大树上。分布四川、湖北、贵州、湖南、江西等地。

全年均可采挖根,夏季采叶晒干备用。
【性味】
性平,味微苦。
【功用主治】
除风湿,通经络。治牙痛,风湿关节炎,无名肿毒。
【用法与用量】
内服:煎汤,1~2两;浸酒或炖肉服。外用:捣敷。
